Hey this is surreal, literally. Loved the panoramic view. Do you have such a big scanner in your office or you scanned in parts. Secondly, what brush/pen/ink do you use for drawing and inking? And you seem to have colored it with hand ? Watercolors ? before taking it to digitally. Lastly, the way you are holding it I can almost see you beaming behind it. And that is the bestest part .I’ve only seen small children full of enthu holding there work like this 🙂 How much time did it take ? And will this be in the upcoming issue of Tehelka?
Thanks. Scanned in two parts. Its 2 A4’s side by side. I use a thin steadtler triplus fineliner. its coloured on photoshop. Haha yes sometimes im all enthu. Took about 6 hours. Its in the issue thats on stands today.
Thanks for sharing, Samia. To me it appeared watercolored, especially the way yellow has mix of green (in the hat, door) and also considering the texture of the green in the photos hanging above the door. Really cool work ! And keep the enthu up. Always 🙂
Btw, saw your beautifully done Fastest Man series and the pic titled ‘1st’ ‘ doesn’t open in full-size. Just thought you might like to fix it. Cheers!
Thanks. For full size image viewing all you have to do is click on the size thats mentioned in orange on the left. After you’ve clicked on the image to open in a new tab. Bit complex i know. Could have just opened full size in the first step but thats how this theme is. And I don’t know coding.
Haha Samia , no matter how thick 🙂 I’m the process isn’t that complex (lolz). What I meant was other images open when I click on the full size (in orange) with the exeption of the one titled ‘1st’ . I’ve tried it a couple of times so thought you might like to check. As it shows a cross (x) sign. May be some glitch at my end!
And i don’t know any artist who know coding and all. You are a fantastic artist. Keep the good stuff rolling!
